This is the correct measurement for spacing our THPG switches with completely round backplates around 1 cm apart:
If you want to install the same style of switch with chamfered backplates, you do not require this spacer – the solid wall back boxes are just pushed together, which creates the correct distance between screwholes.

Kaiser plaster compensation ring, for plasterboard

These handy "extenders" are to compensate for deep-seated boxes, for example behind tiling or where plasterboard has been fitted after box installation.
They come in 2 depths (10mm and 20mm), with 2 screws for attaching equipment and 2 ring attachment screws. The plaster compensation rings can also be stacked for even deeper boxes!
